Today was a wild day! The judge put a hard 25 minute limit on the defense, but has put NO LIMITS on the prosecution. This isn't the first time Judge Jonker has appeared to be assisting the government in making their case. The judge has repeatedly interject with the defense in front of the jury, but not the government. This could sway a jury looking to the court for direction. The judge went so far as to call one of the defense arguments "crap," in front of the jury. I have included in this article my 30 pages of exclusive trial notes. This is as close to a transcription of the days proceeding that I can get for people who want to come to their own conclusions.
